The 2nd Annual Wake Forest Music and a Mission is a fundraising event fighting food insecurity and supporting ALS United North Carolina. It is a ticketed music event with food concessions information tables and a silent auction. Our headlining band will be The Gravy Boys and our acoustic stage artist will be Blake Eason. The event is being held in collaboration with the Outreach Ministries of Wake Forest Presbyterian Church is led and staffed by volunteers from the church and the community and is associated with the Wake Forest Listening Room.
The 2025 event will happen Saturday November 1st from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Wake Forest Presbyterian Church CLC (Chistian Life Center).
The 2024 inaugural event raised over $14000 for its charities and was attended by about 270 people.
Our 501(c)(3) charities in 2025 are shown below along with the division of net proceeds:
ALS United North Carolina (50%)
Wake Forest Community Table (16.7%)
Journey Ministry Pantry (16.6%)
WFPC Backpack Programs (16.7%)
The named charities will receive:
100% of donations made in person or via our website
100% of net proceeds from the silent auction food concessions and raffles
Approximately 50% of gross proceeds from ticket sales depending on attendance.
