Kono/Konae weaving

Weave a konae - 2 cornered basket, (looks like a kete - bag/basket), using harakeke and traditional Māori weaving techniques.

Option weave a kono - 4 cornered basket.

I have been teaching weaving since 2017 at KareNZ Kitz Weaving Studio and Art Gallery beside the Waitara River in Taranaki.

$60 per konae/kono

No refund or credit will be offered for missed workshop. You are welcome to send someone in your place if you are unable to attend.
