Come celebrate the beginning of fall by picking your own pumpkin straight from the Craigavon Farms pumpkin patch!
Entry is free! Search for the best pumpkin, wander our gardens, and enjoy the sunshine! We will have music, family friendly games and lots of photo ops. Hero’s food truck will be on site with lunch options, and @verascateringltd will be bringing pumpkin themed beverages and snacks!
If we don’t get a hard frost before then, we will also have u-cut flowers available.
We have a large variety of pumpkins and squash - including classic orange jack-o-lanterns, decorative (and edible) pumpkins in various colours, pie pumpkins, mini pumpkins, and a few of our favourite squash varieties for all of your fall and winter cooking. With proper care, pumpkins will last well past Halloween.
Pricing:
Pumpkins/Squash - $1/lb (minimum $3, max $20)
U-cut flowers - End of season sale price $35 (regular $40)
While we have a lot to choose from (we’ve nearly tripled our crop from last year!) we don’t always know how many people to expect so it is first come first served until we sell out.
Please note that our gardens may have some uneven areas or tripping hazards, and the pumpkin vines (and occasional thistle!) can be quite pokey, so we recommend that your wear closed toe footwear and dress for the weather. Sunscreen, a hat, bug spray, and/or a rain jacket may help to keep your visit more comfortable. A wagon is useful for getting your pumpkins back to your vehicle, and a box or bucket can help to stabilize your flower arrangements in the car on your drive home.
Please do not bring along your pets, as they can cause unintentional damage to the farm and stress our animals.
While you are in the area, be sure to check out the Zajic Corn Maze! They are only a couple of range roads over from us, and their maze helps to support a variety of community organizations!
