About the event

National Association of State Foresters 2025 Annual Meeting
The 2025 NASF Annual Meeting promises to be an outstanding forum

on forestry issues. Join us on the Kona Coast of Hawaii September 15-18!

About this Event

The National Association of State Foresters (NASF) has convened State Foresters and their partners at our Annual Meeting every year since 1920. Attracting more than 200 forestry and wildland fire leaders, this meeting offers extraordinary networking opportunities with key decision-makers.

The 2025 NASF Annual Meeting will be held on the Big Island of Hawai'i, at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel.

State forestry agencies connect professionals, partners, and the public to manage America’s trees and forests. Distant decisions have local impacts, and well-informed decisions have the best outcomes. NASF’s 2025 Annual Meeting will be a microcosm of national decision-making. Small breakout meetings will address compelling questions with diverse partners. These meetings will inform dialogue with national leaders in a combined general session.

Online registration opens July 1.Registration will close September 1, 2025. Late and on-site registration costs will rise to $950 for General Attendees, State Foresters, and Former State Foresters, and $550 for Guests (availble until September 12). The technical tour is not available for late registrants, so please register before September 1.

By participating in the Silent Auction, you ensure that your great state or organization contributes to ongoing national initiatives that make a real difference for your forests at home.

Consider donating an item (or two, or three!) to this year’s Silent Auction. (Please note we cannot accept donations of alcohol this year.) You can either bring your Silent Auction item(s) with you or ship the item(s) ahead of the meeting.

Prior to mailing an item, please email Katie Forman-Cook, the Executive Director for the NASF Foundation, at Zm91bmRhdGlvbiB8IHN0YXRlZm9yZXN0ZXJzbGVnYWN5ICEgb3Jn for instructions.
