The Palliative Care Community Awareness Forum is a free information evening to assist those who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, their families, and those involved in their care.
To be held on Tuesday 28 October, with doors opening at 6:30pm at the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre. Speakers will cover a range of topics such as: accounting and legal advice (including Advance Care Directive and wills), managing terminal illness, palliative care at home, palliative care after-hours, emergency department management, hospice options and more. The Forum will conclude with an open Q&A session. This is your opportunity to ask questions directly with our speakers.
Those affected by a terminal diagnosis can find the process of accessing services, support or simply getting information overwhelming and extremely difficult. It is the aim of Calvaryβs Palliative Care Enhancement Council to provide this critical information to the public by holding an open information evening. We look forward to sharing this valuable information with you.
Tea and coffee will be served. Attendees will be provided the opportunity to access further information from relevant service providers before the event.
No registration required, just come along on the evening.
Doors open 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start.
