This year's festive season kicks off with a beautifully bewitching lantern parade through the village by the school children and their families.
The school children will start at Trevisker Primary School at 5:30pm and wend their way through the village, the parade will end in the St Eval Community Meadow around 6pm where Santa and his cheeky elves will be waiting to give a free gift to every child in the parish. All are welcome!
As dusk falls, the meadow will come alive with a glittering display of lights and the nostalgic sound of children singing carols (please join in the singing too!).
Bring torches/tealights or lanterns as it will be dark. Wellies are probably a good idea too as it will be wet underfoot.
IMPORTANT - All children must be supervised by an adult please!
The lovely Dan from Roast by the Coast will also be in attendance for all your coffee and hot chocolate needs.
There will be crafts and activities to do whilst you wait to see Santa - make reindeer food or a jinglejangle wand to take home with you :)
We hope you can join us. Homeschoolers, neighbours, pre-schoolers and families... whether you're there to watch the parade or just enjoy the atmosphere, the whole community is welcome to meet Santa and the elves and receive your gift!
