Hello Heartland of Raider Nation,
I pray all is well in our Raider Family. On December 12th, we will wrap up the year 2025 at our Christmas Tailgate Party. We will be doing what we do best as a club—raising money for the Bethlehem Center, along with our food, toy, and undergarment collection. Raider Nation continues to make a difference in our community.
I want to thank everyone for supporting our club throughout 2025, which marked our 35th year as a recognized Booster Club of the Raiders. Heartland of Raider Nation, THANK YOU for your support!

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE
Our 35th Annual Christmas Raffle, benefiting the Bethlehem Center, will wrap up at our Friday, December 12th Christmas Tailgate Party.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our raffle by selling tickets. Our club paid for all raffle prizes and printing so that every dollar raised goes directly to the Bethlehem Center.

CHRISTMAS TAILGATE PARTY – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12
At our end-of-year Tailgate Party, we’ll wrap up the Christmas Raffle and collect toys, food, and undergarments for the Bethlehem Center.
Toy & Undergarment Drive:
For every new unwrapped toy and package of undergarments, you’ll receive 3 raffle tickets for our regular raffle.
Please keep teenagers in mind—sports balls, games, and gift cards are appreciated.
Bethlehem Center Needs:
• Warm socks (all ages)
• Underwear/chonies
Potluck:
Bring a main dish or side dish to share.
Club provides:
• Desserts
• Drinks (thank you Johnny & Elisa Meija for sodas and waters)
• Plates, napkins, utensils
Please bring a serving spoon for your dish.

CTE 2026
The 20th Annual Steering Committee Commitment To Excellence Award Dinner will be held on Friday, February 27th, at the Lakeside Events Center in Summerlin, Nevada.
The Steering Committee could not secure last year’s Henderson venue, so we are grateful to have the Lakeside Events Center—even on a Friday.
This dinner honors the 2025 Raiders CTE Award Winner, as voted by his teammates, recognizing excellence on and off the field. The winner will be announced at the final home game on January 4th.
Maxx Crosby has won the award the last four years. At the 2025 CTE dinner, I told him no one had won it five straight years. His response:
“See you next year.”
We’ll find out on January 4th!

R.I.P. – CRUZ HUERTA
On November 15, we unexpectedly lost Cruz Huerta, a lifelong Raider and loyal club member.
Years ago, Cruz approached me at a meeting and said he wanted to donate $100 to our Christmas Raffle. When I asked how he wanted it used, he said, “whatever you think is best.” That moment inspired us to begin requesting donations to enhance our raffle ticket—and the rest is history.
Cruz and his family tragically lost his daughter in June, and now they face heartbreak again. Our thoughts and prayers go to his wife Rosie and the entire Huerta family.

MORRIS BRADSHAW
On January 3rd, 2025, we lost a great friend and mentor to all Raiders Booster Clubs—Morris Bradshaw.
Morris was a two-time Super Bowl champion and served from 1989–2019 as the Raiders Senior Administrator, Booster Club Advisor, and head of Raiders Alumni.
His childhood friend Jeff Krumeich has established the Morris Bradshaw Scholarship Fund in Edwardsville, Illinois. A $2,000 annual scholarship will be awarded to a high school football player in Morris’s honor.
A kickoff dinner was held on September 12th, and on September 13th, Morris’s high school officially retired his jersey number 19.
As of our November 13th meeting, our club has raised $669 for the scholarship. Donations will continue to be accepted until the December Tailgate Party. Venmo and Cash App are available.
