Sunday Speaker Bruce Shelton - “Guardians of Being”

On October 5th, we celebrate Saint Francis Feast Day. Saint Francis is the Guardian Saint of all animals; he is renowned for his love of animals. So, on that date we will be honoring the animals of the world, both our domestic animals, as well as animals free in nature.

In particular, we will consider the spiritual lessons that animals have to teach us. For example, animals live only in the now, the present moment. It’s only in the now that we as humans are able to connect with the center of our being, the Source of all life, and thereby experience our highest potential. About the speaker:

Senior Pastor Bruce Shelton serves on the Pastoral Council and as President of the Board of Directors for the Fellowship of the Inner Light. He’s also served the Fellowship in many other ways for many years. Bruce shares music and is the music coordinator. He works on the building and grounds, and schedules Sunday Speakers. Bruce is a lincensed counselor and a retired probation officer.
