Cold Supermoon Evening Walk at the Oceanfront (4 miles) 🌕❄️
Bundle up and join us for a magical evening walk under the Cold Supermoon! This December full moon will shine brighter and closer than usual, making it the perfect time for a crisp seaside stroll with friends.
📅 Date: Thursday, December 4, 2025
🕡 Time: 6:00 PM (sunset sky followed by the glowing Cold Moon)
📍 Meeting Spot:
Starbucks (241 Laskin Road, #31, Virginia Beach, VA 23451) — corner of Laskin Street & Pacific Avenue in the 31 Ocean shopping complex.
🅿️ Parking:
• Free 2-hour parking lot right next to Starbucks (31 Ocean Retail Shops Parking)
• Additional FREE 🆓 street parking available nearby
🚶 Route (4 miles total):
• Start at 31st Street and walk north to 40th Street, then back to 31st Street
• Continue south toward the 14th Street VB Fishing Pier
• Turn around and return to Starbucks to finish
🐾 Dogs & Guests: Leashed dogs are welcome! Bring friends, family, or out-of-town guests—everyone is invited.
💡 Tips: Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, and bundle up in a winter jacket, hat, scarf, and gloves. The oceanfront can be very chilly in winter evenings. The boardwalk is well-lit and always open, so it’s a safe and enjoyable evening stroll.
