Cape Henry Collegiate will host its annual 5K run, Race at the Cape, on October 11, 2025. This event will begin at 8:00 A.M. and should finish by 9:30 A.M. Several streets in Linkhorn Cove and Alanton neighborhoods are included as part of the race route.
The race course is a s follows:
• Left out of the school onto Mill Dam
• Left on Templeton Lane
• Left on Starr Way
• Left on Valhalla Arch (loop)
• Right on Alanton Drive
• Left on Valhalla Arch
• Right on Starr Way
• Right on Templeton Lane
• Right on Mill Dam Road back to the School
Only a portion of the street will be used by runners. Every effort will be made to ensure that residents inconvenienced. To notify residents, flyers will be distributed along the race route prior to the event.
Cape Henry welcomes families from Alanton neighborhood to participate in the race and other activities offered at Cape Henry Collegiate's Fall Festival which begins immediately following the conclusion of the race.
