We kick off our journey with a tour and spirit tasting at Arthur Wheeler Distillery, one of the few Black-owned distilleries in the country. Sip handcrafted spirits and learn the story behind this bold, flavor-forward brand rooted in tradition and innovation.
Saturday evening, the energy turns up at the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo—a thrilling celebration of Black cowboy culture. Watch as skilled riders and ropers bring history to life in an electrifying display of strength, pride, and community.
Sunday morning, we head into the heart of Washington, DC for the Black in Broadway Walking Tour. This guided experience explores the powerful contributions of Black artists to American theater, highlighting the people and places that helped shape the stage and redefine storytelling.
We end the trip with a delicious, down-home meal at Oohh & Aahh Soul Food Restaurant, a beloved DC favorite known for its soulful dishes, warm hospitality, and unforgettable flavor.
