Jerry H. Gurwitz, MD is the Dr. John Meyers Professor of Primary Care Medicine at the UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he served as the Chief of the Division Geriatric Medicine for over 20 years.
Dr. Gurwitz has written extensively on improving the health and health care of older Americans, with a special focus on Medic*tion safety.
