Outdoor Sketching and Watercolor Class in Martha's Vineyard

These day trips are always favorites of students and myself. We take the Hy-line Ferry from Hyannis and land in Oak Bluffs around 10 a.m. We return on the late afternoon ferry and are back in Hyannis around 5.

We spend the day sketching and painting all over the town of Oak Bluffs or maybe take a shuttle to another town, depending on the group's needs and wants. We usually bring our lunches but there are plenty of places to grab something to eat.

Students are encouraged to pack light as there is a lot of walking involved. There are plenty of benches and places to sit but some may want to include a lightweight stool for more opportunities at some locations.

Those coming from the Falmouth area may want to take the ferry from there but should be sure they can get to Oak Bluffs--by ferry or by shuttle to meet us at 10ish. Students are responsible for all ferry and parking fees.

Cost for the class remains $25 cash
