Bhoomi Pooja of Shree Durga Mahalakshmi Temple

With great joy and devotion, 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐜.. (NQHC) warmly invites you and your family to be part of a 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 — 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐢 𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐣𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐢 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 in Townsville.

The 𝐁𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐢 𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐣𝐚 is a traditional Vedic ceremony performed to honour 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 and seek her divine blessings before commencing temple construction. This marks the beginning of a divine vision — *the first temple in Townsville built from its foundation, dedicated to Shree Durga Mahalakshmi, a rare and powerful form of the Goddess worshipped in only a few temples worldwide.

As part of the divine rites, the Shree Ganesha Homam will be performed by our priest, and every devotee will be invited to participate in the auspicious ritual. Pooja will be followed by lunch.
