We combine an intense dance workout and a bright dance session at the same time. Expect beats that make you move & sweat during this 2 hours workout that trains your heart and lifts your spirit.
All moves and all bodies are welcome. Make it ugly, make it smooth. Surrender yourself to the music and dance how you feel, alone or with others. We’re not here for the show, we’re here to live our best lives Full permission to get creative and do ‘yo thang’ on the dance floor! No prior experience necessary.
SUNRA PROJECT
Dimitri first encountered Ecstatic Dance in Amsterdam in 2012. Drawn to the free and transformative energy of this dance form, he frequently traveled to the Netherlands, as Ecstatic Dance did not yet exist in Belgium.
Guided by his passion and vision, he co-founded Ecstatic Dance Belgium in 2014 together with a group of like-minded pioneers. Performing under his former artist name DJ Mantradeli, he has since facilitated hundreds of dance sessions both in Belgium and abroad. He also became a regular guest in Amsterdam, especially during the magical Sunday morning Ecstatic Dance at Club Lite.
After a period of deep inner transformation, Dimitri rediscovered himself and his musical direction. Emerging under the name Sunra Project, he entered a new creative chapter — one in which he also composes and produces his own music. Under this name, he has released four albums to date, available at www.sunraproject.com
Since 2014, Dimitri has been the organizer of Ecstatic Dance Ghent — a beloved and long-standing gathering for those seeking an authentic and healing dance experience.
GOLDEN PRINCIPLES:
- We live by mutual consent and respect
- This is an all-inclusive safe dance space. Everyone is welcome. No judgement. Camera's and phones are not invited into the dance space.
- Sober event
- No talking during the session. Use body language!
- We dance bare foot, on socks or dance shoes.

Doors open at 19h15 & close at 19h45 - Please respect this time frame so that the crew at the door can dance with us.
ENTRANCE - 25 euro at the door, 20 euro online (the online sale ends at 19h00). Discounted early bird tickets for 15 euro online only.

Free parking in front of the venue. Entrance is on the parking lot between Cantine and Ecoworks.
BRING - wear comfortable clothes and bring your own water bottle.
