Užauginta Niujorko džiazo scenos savo studijų JAV metais, Viktorija tęsia geriausias džiazo tradicijas, akcentuodama ritmo ir svingo svarbą.
Prancūzijoje Viktorija nuolat bendradarbiauja su bigbendais, o Žymus Frankfurto radijo bigbendas du metus iš eilės kvietė ją atstovauti Lietuvą Vokietijoje.
Viktorija yra Sarah Vaughan konkurso laureatė, patekusi į finalą du kartus.
Nors Lietuvoje pasirodanti gana retai, ji pakankamai gerai žinoma ir mėgstama tradicinio džiazo mylėtojams, tad paskubėjite pasirinkti vieną iš trijų jos koncertų datų, nes klubo vietų kiekis ribotas, o pernai visi KETURI!!!! jos koncertai buvo išparduoti.

Viktorija Gečytė is a Lithuanian singer based in Paris, admired by fans and critics alike for her refined phrasing, conversational delivery and contagious swing.
Groomed by the New York area's jazz scene during her college years in the US, Viktorija is a worthy heir to the American jazz tradition with a profound respect for the rhythm. Her scatting is effortless, her poise enchanting.
In France, Viktorija leads several jazz and blues projects and performs regularly with big bands. The Frankfurt Radio Big Band had invited her to represent Lithuanian jazz for two consecutive years in Germany.
Viktorija is among the proud laureates of the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, having participated in the finals twice, in 2019 and 2021.
Although she rarely performs in Lithuania, she is quite well-known and loved by traditional jazz enthusiasts, so be sure to book one of her three concert dates soon, as seating in the club is limited and last year her FOUR !!! concerts were sold out.
