🗓️ Gruodžio 13 d. popietę Radvilų rūmų dailės muziejus kviečia į eksperimentinį susitikimą – liudyti menininkės Rūtos Junevičiūtės balso, kūno ir vaizdinių praktiką.
Kviesdama pabūti meninio veiksmo liudininkais, o ne žiūrovais, Junevičiūtė tyrinėja, kaip galima megzti laikiną ryšį muziejuje ir kurti socialinę erdvę liūdesio emocinėms išraiškoms, trikdančioms įprastą modernybės mandagumo kanoną. Siekdama stiprinti vaginos, širdies ir gerklės ryšį, menininkė tiria viešo raudojimo tradiciją, kaip kūnišką, regeneruojančią ir anarchišką praktiką, leidžiančią tirpdyti individualumo skirtis, pildyti verbalinės kalbos ir patriarchalinės viešosios sferos spragas.
👥 Kaip tariamai perdėtas jautrumas gali padėti steigti orią alternatyvą socialiniam nujautrinimui? Kokie yra viešos erdvės lūkesčiai verkiančiam kūnui? Kada emocijos tampa pavojingos, o balsas abjektyvus? Kaip dalintis širdgėla drauge ir priimti skausmo neišvengiamumą?
ℹ️ Renginys vyks lietuvių kalba su anglų kalbos intarpais RRDM pietinio korpuso Didžiojoje salėje. Nepilnamečiams rekomenduojama suaugusiųjų palyda.
Renginys vyksta 2025 m. RRDM vykusios parodos „Visa tai, ko negalima daryti“ ir nuolatinės istorinės tapybos ekspozicijos pokyčių kontekste.

Rūta Junevičiūtė – menininkė, dirbanti vizualiųjų ir performatyvių menų srityse. Pastaruosius septynerius metus tyrinėja kūno atmintį, transgeneracinius ryšius ir holistinius gijimo procesus. Savo kūryboje fokusuojasi į įkūnytą žinojimą, tarpusavio susietumą ir emocijas. Junevičiūtės kūryba buvo pristatyta įvairiose institucijose Lietuvoje ir Europoje. 2023 m. išleido knygą „Aisopika“ apie sąmokslo estetiką, cenzūros afektus ir ezopinės kalbos reiškinį. Kartu su choreografe Liza Baliasnaja vykdo tyrimą ir tęstinių seminarų ciklą „Jautrūs taškai“, kuriame kolektyviai nagrinėja, kaip neišspręsta istorija reiškiasi kūne.

🗓️ On the afternoon of December 13, the Radvila Palace Museum of Art invites you to an experimental encounter – to witness the practices of mourning, drawing and voicing by artist Rūta Junevičiūtė.
Inviting the audience to be active witnesses of artistic process rather than spectators, Junevičiūtė explores how to establish a temporary bond in a museum context and create a social space for expressions of sadness that disrupt the usual canon of modern politeness. Seeking to strengthen the connection between the vagina, the heart, and the throat, the artist explores the tradition of public lament as a somato-political, regenerative, and anarchic practice that might allow us to to fill the gaps of verbal communication and counterbalance individualized patriarchal public sphere.
👥 How can supposedly excessive sensitivity help to establish a dignified alternative to social desensitization? What are the expectations of public space for a crying body? When do emotions appear dangerous and the voice abject? How can we share heartache collectively and soothe the inevitability of pain?
ℹ️ The event will be held in Lithuanian with English fragments in the Great Hall of the Radvila Palace South Building. Minors are advised to be accompanied by adults.
The event takes place in the context of the 2025 Radvila Palace exhibition "Everything You Are Not Supposed to Do" and a rehang in the permanent historical painting exhibition.

Rūta Junevičiūtė is an artist and choreographer from Vilnius, based in Amsterdam. For the past seven years she has been researching body memory, transgenerationality and holistic processes of healing. Her work explores embodied knowledge, interconnectedness and emotions. Junevičiūtė’s work has been presented in different art institutions in Lithuania and Europe. In 2023 she published a book "Aesopica" on the aesthetics of conspiracy, affects of censorship and the phenomena of the Aesopian language. Together with choreographer Liza Baliasnaja she is co-facilitating an ongoing research and workshop series "Sore Spots", addressing how unresolved history manifests in the body.
