Spekki Webu’s roots go back to teenage discoveries of jungle and gabber – raw, high-velocity sounds that sparked his obsession with intensity and hypnosis. Those first shocks of energy still echo in his sets today, only deeper, stranger, and more psychedelic.
Yes, he calls it psychedelic techno, since genres feel too narrow – but more than a style, it’s a mindset. His performances are wormholes: layers stacking, rhythms bending, time stretching until the room is carried somewhere beyond the usual. From BOILER ROOM to DEKMANTEL and AWAKENINGS, he has built a reputation for turning the floor into ritual.
Outside the booth, he extends the same vision. As the head of MIRROR ZONE and its sub-label OPTIC PORTAL, he curates portals into AMBIENT, DRONE, IDM, and BREAKCORE. His collaborations reach into film, CGI, and audiovisual installations, where sound and image blur into one. At ELASTICA, he arrives not just as a DJ, but as a curator of journeys – precise, surreal, uncompromising.
