This year, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) will host the annual conference of the Central and Eastern European Network of Jurisprudence (CEENJ), held on two special occasions – the 20th anniversary of CEENJ and the 35th anniversary of MRU.
Since 2005, CEENJ has been bringing together legal philosophers and theorists from across Central and Eastern Europe, and in recent years, it has expanded to welcome scholars from around the world. The conferences provide a vibrant forum to discuss both fundamental issues of law and justice as well as pressing contemporary legal challenges.
Key themes of this year’s conference:

The conference will conclude with a special session marking CEENJ’s 20th anniversary, reflecting on the network’s achievements and future directions.
