Myd cultive une élégance décontractée, signature d’une French Touch nouvelle génération : insolente, mutante, mais surtout jamais figée, comme l’a prouvé son premier album Born a Loser en 2021. Porté par des tubes comme The Sun, ou Moving Men avec Mac DeMarco, cet opus l’a révélé au grand public, et sur scène, avec une nomination aux Victoires de la Musique (Révélation masculine), et un Olympia en ébullition.
Avec Mydnight, son nouvel album, Myd change de costume : fini les flâneries en short de bain sur fond de pop solaire. Cette fois, c’est sous les stroboscopes qu’il donne rendez-vous. Treize titres pour embraser le dancefloor, dans la grande tradition des nuits qui déraillent entre euphorie collective et douce mélancolie.
