Calling all Pickers, Antique-ers, and Junk Store Enthusiasts: This is the weekend for you! Every Fall and Spring, this “15 mile of stretch of Junkin’ Paradise,” hits the Natchez/Vidalia area. You’ll find 20+ shops, with food trucks and fun, all packed into an epic, all-day shopping experience of antiquing and junkin’. There will be door prizes to be won and discounts to be had. Come and stay for the entire weekend!

Junkin' On the River is a much anticipated, twice-a-year event has provided a vital boost to local economies since 2021.
Junkin’ On The River was founded by Danielle Nelson, who started it all in March 2021 with the idea to bring more business to the small businesses and shops in the Natchez/Vidalia area. The year before with the pandemic could have shut everyone down, so with a mission to keep open shop doors and a love of junkin, Nelson began to plan. Instead of a “market for everyone to go to,” she crafted an event based on a “poker run” or “pub crawl” concept to highlight everyone’s locations.
Four years and six events later, Junkin’ On The River has grown from an idea to an epic shopping event that attracts thousands to Natchez and Vidalia, bringing in revenue to our local economies from 7+ states.
