Getting started with rope: Risks, Lingo, Best Practices, and Basic Knots. A basic introductory class to rope bondage. If you've been curious about rope but haven't known where to start this is the class for you! Everyone wanting to get into shibari as a rigger or as the person-in-rope should take a class like this at least twice.Prerequisites: none, participants are welcome to bring their own 15-30ft rope but there will be rope available for purchase and limited loaner rope for those without. This class can be taken solo or with a partner but everyone in attendance is encouraged to tie and learn the knots.Best practices, safety, & risks. Choosing rope, basic terms and lingo.
