Garage Sale Fundraiser – Support Afghan Refugee Families
A group of community members is sponsoring two Afghan refugee families who are currently in hiding in Pakistan after fleeing the Taliban. Their safety and future depend on our support.
The families include:
2 adult women
2 adult men
5 children (ages 3–13)
They were forced to flee Afghanistan because their lives were in danger — including a 13-year-old girl who was at risk of forced marriage. Both families had worked with non-profit organizations, which made them a target.
Event: 3770 Winston Crescent
Date & Time: September 27 & 28, 9 - 2 PM
What to expect: A huge selection of great items — clothing, household goods, books, toys, and special treasures. Come shop and know your purchase makes a difference!
