About the event

Algorithm, Ancestry, and AI: Exploring the Intersection
Join CREAN as will explore the relationship between culture, identity, ancestry, and AI through panel discussion.

About this Event

This closing conversation connects the day’s themes: how algorithms shape what we see, how we’re treated, and what stories get told about us often without our consent. Panelists will explore the relationship between culture, identity, ancestry, and AI, including questions like:

What happens when technology “learns” from biased histories?

Who benefits from AI and who carries the risks?

How do we protect cultural knowledge, community stories, and creative work in digital spaces?

What does it mean to reclaim digital futures through self-determination and community-led design?

The venue is wheelchair accessible and a free hot lunch is available with veg/vegan options.
