Join Us for the Black History Month Program!
Throughout February, we’ll be hosting a Girl Scouts–themed Black History Month Storytime & Craft Program at local libraries. The program celebrates Black women leaders, highlights Girl Scout Troop Leader Josephine Groves Holloway, includes a Storytime reading from Little Leaders: Bold Women in Black History or ABC of Black History, and features a hands-on craft activity for newcomers to enjoy and take home. (K-12th graders, caregivers are welcome to stay)
Active GS who attend the program wearing GS apparel or uniform are invited to stop by and receive a Black History Month–themed sticker while supplies last.
Highest Award? If you are pursuing your highest Award and need experience volunteering, please email me, and you can attend the meeting and help with the event.
Troops are welcome to attend as a group or encourage families to stop by individually during event times.
If you have questions or would like to help spread the word within your troop, please feel free to reach out to Karis, a3dhbGtlciB8IGdzbnlwZW5uICEgb3Jn
