Downtown Homewood Sunset Series

We are excited to announce a new 5K race series happening in Downtown Homewood in the months of May, June and July! Introducing the Downtown Homewood Sunset Series involving three local, evening 5K's! It kicks off May 17 with the Spring Scramble which is in it's 19th year, and benefits the Coat of Arms advocacy organization, which supports initiatives for food insecurity, literacy, education, and health promotion for children within the Birmingham community and state of Alabama. The second leg is the 2nd Annual Mike Eskridge Legacy 5K, honoring a long time fixture in the Birmingham running community and co-founder of EW Motion Therapy, June 7. The final leg is the Retro Run, July 26, known for it's great music, great food and notorious costume contest! Those who participate in all three events, get a discounted entry fee to each, and will receive a finisher's item. We haven't decided on it yet, but we're thinking a custom running cap or medal.
