Dates: Monday July 21st and Tuesday July 22nd from 10am-1:30pm (Bring a bagged lunch for 30 minute lunch break)

Activity Description: We are excited to offer several youth mini-camps this summer. In this program students will learn the basic elements of mindfulness infused with a nature theme expressed through art. Each class will include fun and engaging mindfulness activities an art project a crafting project and story time. Our experienced instructors will guide the children in practicing movement techniques (such as stretching) and other mindfulness exercises. Students will also use paint and other art mediums to create their own artwork. Additionally they will decorate a small planter pot and plant seeds to take home and watch them grow.

More Information: Stilettos offers unique and fun mini-camps for children throughout the year. Our programs are geared for adolescent children wishing to explore the world of art. We teach simple and fun projects that encourage self-expression education and fundamental art skills. Students will learn a variety of art mediums in these programs with a wonderful instructor. We often include educational pieces in our programs to help expand the mind as well as the heart.

This age group is very creative and their imaginations are limitless. We encourage them to express their unique imaginations and teach them how to do so through art. 

Our main goal is to foster expressive creativity and build self-confidence all while having fun. We help children to grow and use their wonderful imaginations in an unlimited way. 

The instruction portion of each session is 3 hours long for a total of 6 hours of instruction over the full camp. Students must register at least 3 days in advance to allow the purchase of necessary materials.
