Ages 1–18

🧑‍🍳 This session’s recipe: Homemade Sloppy Joes using an electric skillet!

Let’s get cooking! In this hands-on culinary class, students will learn how to make simple and delicious sloppy joes — all while gaining essential kitchen skills in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment.

Part of our Art of Life Program, this class goes beyond the recipe. We focus on confidence, independence, and self-care by teaching cooking as a life skill that students can carry with them forever.

👩‍🏫 What Makes This Class Special:

• Taught by Certified Life & Health Coach Siobhan Alban, Ashley Serbonich or Beyond the Spectrum Founder Rebecca Whitman
• Teaches food prep, kitchen safety, and meal planning
• Focuses on healthy habits, decision-making, and self-reliance
• Uses beginner-friendly tools like electric skillets, air fryers, crock pots & more

By keeping tools simple and techniques safe, we make sure that every student, even the youngest, can cook confidently and safely without adult supervision at home.

🗓️ Class Schedule:

• Every other Thursday at 12 PM
• Every other Saturday at 2 PM
• ⏱️ Duration: 1.5–2 hours
• 📌 Registration Required: Please sign up at least 3 days in advance so we can order fresh ingredients and ensure every student is ready to go!

💰 Price: $65 per class
