Families considering a Reception place for September 2026 are warmly invited to explore how FSM lays the foundations for confident and curious learners.
Join us for our Reception Open Morning on Friday 17th October, from 9.00am to 10.30am. Discover how our Reception class blends creativity and care with early academic foundations that last a lifetime.
Set in 35 acres of Hampshire countryside, our Reception class combines child-led exploration with academic rigour, creativity with structure, and playfulness with purpose. Our experienced Early Years team deliver a curriculum shaped by each child’s interests, using vibrant classrooms and daily outdoor learning to bring learning to life.
You’ll also have the chance to explore our new playground, purposefully designed to encourage curiosity, risk-taking, and joy in early learning.
Timetable for the Morning
• 9.00am - Welcome with Mark Howe, Head of Forres Sandle Manor
• 9.30am - Talks from our Reception and Pre Prep teachers
• 10.00am - Guided tour of our Pre Prep classrooms and outdoor spaces
