Parent/Child Book Club: Song for a Whale

Share the love of reading! Parent/Child Book Club is for kids ages 8-11 and their parents/caregivers. In October, Parent/Child Book Club will discuss the novel "Song for a Whale" by Lynne Kelly and enjoy activities and snacks related to the book. Books are available for check-out at the Youth Services Desk.

"Twelve-year-old Iris and her grandmother, both deaf, fly from Texas to California and then take a cruise ship to Alaska-- armed with Iris's plan to help Blue-55, a whale unable to communicate with other whales."
