The Volunteer Services Council for North Texas State Hospital is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a Golf Tournament at Hillcrest Golf Course.
We invite you to join us for this inaugural day of fun in our local community. The North Texas Showdown will serve as a fundraiser to support events at North Texas State Hospital. Due to limited funding for state facilities, North Texas is taking the initiative to raise funds that will benefit both patients and staff.
Currently, NTSH employs and cares for up to 2,489 individuals. Our mission focuses on the mental health of both our patients and staff, as North Texas is dedicated to caring for people.
Did you know that over 1 in 5 adults experience amental illness, and suicide is among the leading causes of death in the United States? In 2023, there were 49,449 suicide-related deaths. Will you stand as an advocate for mental health and support us in this new endeavor? Included with this message are various participation opportunities that cater to any budget. Your support of our fundraising efforts will allow us to encourage and reward our patients and staff for achieving treatment and employment goals, as well as for excelling in every aspect of mental health care. Together, we can enhance the lives of those we serve and provide the highest quality of patient care and treatment for all Texans.
If you would like to sponsor this event, please submit all sponsorship commitments by May 16, 2025, though earlier submissions are greatly appreciated. This will ensure that your business or organization is featured on promotional materials and at the event. All donations are tax-deductible.
