FliteTest Gliders: Build & Fly

In this workshop, students will embark on a journey to build their own Flite Test EZ Build Gliders using easy-to-follow instructions. They will learn essential skills such as cutting, assembling, and balancing four gliders for optimal flight performance. This hands-on experience not only teaches the basics of aerodynamics but also fosters creativity and problem-solving.

Once the gliders are constructed, students will have the chance to test fly their creations. They will explore how different design choices impact flight stability and distance. Through iterative testing and modifications, students will gain a deeper understanding of flight dynamics and the scientific principles that govern them.

By the end of the workshop, participants will not only take home their custom-built gliders but also a newfound appreciation for aviation and engineering. This engaging activity is designed to inspire future engineers, pilots, and scientists.

This program is for all ages, but it is recommended that younger participants be at least 10.
