Turkey Hunting 101

Join us for Turkey Hunting 101!
Whether you're brand new to the turkey woods or a seasoned hunter, this event is for you. We’re bringing in industry pros and experienced guides to help you sharpen your calling skills, including pot calls, box calls, and diaphragm calls. Learn proven techniques, ask questions, and build confidence before the season kicks off.
We’ll wrap up the day with an exciting Calling Contest, and the winner will take home brand-new gear.
We’re also proud to host representatives from the Illinois Lyme Association and the Lake County Department of Health, who will be on hand to discuss the importance of tick protection and how to stay safe while you’re out chasing turkeys.
This event is free and open to the public. Drinks will be provided, and every attendee will receive a free raffle ticket for a chance to win additional gear. We look forward to seeing you there!
