Drone Pilot Training & Flight Week – Sept 27–Oct 3, 2025

Gain practical experience and get ready for your FAA Part 107 exam with a full week of training, practice flights, and real-world exercises. Your registration includes a mini drone and a Part 107 test prep book. Thanks to grant throught Uintah County Economic Development, half of the workshop cost is covered.

Schedule:

• Sat, Sept 27 – 10:00 AM | Meet at Stewart Lake for initial flights, drone intro, and basic flight training.
• Mon, Sept 29 – 9:00 AM | Class start, materials handout, weather & airspace.
• Tue, Sept 30 – 9:00 AM | Review, regulations, maintenance, practice tests.
• Wed, Oct 1 – 9:00 AM | Airport operations, communication, loading & performance, practice tests.
• Thu, Oct 2 – 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM (TBD) | Physiology, aeronautical decision-making, practice tests.
• Fri, Oct 3 – 3:00 PM | Review, test registration, flights.
