HEY VERM Friends! We are going to teach a beginner Quilt Class! Have you always wanted to learn the basics of sewing! This might be the class for you! We have our good friend James Cooper laying out all the sweet sewing skills you'll need to get started.
The goal of this course is to introduce you to the hobby of quilting and work on a project together. We'll discuss tools, fabric, patchwork styles, quilting styles, and resources. As part of the course, you will receive a complete project-in-a-bag kit, this includes every tool you'll need to start your own sewing room. At the end of this course you'll have what's called a quilt-as-you-go mug rug and all the knowledge necessary to take on other projects.
This course will be split up into 2 days. Starting Saturday 9/27 from 6-7:30 and also Sunday 9/28 to continue to work on your new found skills from 6-7:30.
