October Wednesday Series Learn How to Paint Glass & Reflective Objects
This series we'll focus on creating realism in your still life paintings of shiny reflective and glass subjects. Classes are open to all levels of artistic abilities, from absolute beginners to advanced watercolorists, there is something for everyone to experience and enjoy. A variety of watercolor techniques will be taught and drawing templates are provided for all classes.
Week 1: Wednesday October 1st 12-3P
A variety of brightly colored & textured glass bottles sitting on a ledge are our first subjects in this series. You will learn how to create transparency and sparkle as you paint them.
Week 2: Wednesday October 8th 12-3PM
The Iconic Brightly Colored Glass Balloon Dogs are our next fun lesson. Your finished painting will glisten as if it were real glass. as your learn to apply new techniques.
Week 3: Wednesday October 15th 12-3PM
A Sparkling Crystal bowl filled with brightly colored marbles will be a perfect subject to practice these unique techniques to show the reflections and shine of the sparkling marbles.
Week 4: Wednesday October 22nd 12-3PM
A Clear glass vase holding a beautiful bouquet of your choice of flowers will be our 4th class in reflections and sparkle. You'll also learn how water distorts objects that are seen through the glass
