Capture Local Color with Durre Waseem

International plein air master Durre Waseem will lead a 3-day workshop August 5, 6, 7 in the Buenaventura Art Center of Ventura Harbor Village.
Known for her vibrant & expressionistic brushwork, this is a rare and special opportunity for artists. $450 : 2 days focused on landscapes, 1 day on people.
Her bold, colorful brush-work and loose impressionistic style effectively capture the energy and feeling of her subject and establishes a direct line of communication with the viewer. Her inspiration is usually an ordinary object, how its identity is defined by its environment, and how it becomes part of its surroundings.
