Through meditation we can improve our ability to listen to our mind, body and spirit. We can identify our desires, passions and motivations and choose a life of health and happiness. It is also in the depths of meditation that the body’s natural healing abilities can function best.
Even science now tells us that the universe is made up of sound and vibrational energy, therefore a person can be positively influenced by the power of drumming. Indeed the first sound that we hear for nine months of our lives in the womb is the rhythmic beat of our mother’s heartbeat.
In addition to this, drumming also activates certain parts of the brain that lead to a greater sense of self-awareness, insight and certainty. You will experience inner calm and relaxation and an increased sense of well being.
