Join us in welcoming Veronica Pascual & Sergio Saucet from Buenos Aires, to the Isle of Wight Tango Weekend, for the 3rd time! Our weekend will be in a hotel next to the beach in Shanklin, officially the UK's sunniest spot!
Veronica & Sergio bring tango knowledge and teaching experience from Buenos Aires, and Sergio is a well-respected tango DJ at BA's best milongas. Our milongas will feature great tango tunes from across the decades, including the beautiful Golden era classics, as well as classic tangos played by the modern orchestras, tangos by the modern orchestras, and a splash of Nuevo and Alt. Inbetween workshops and milongas, the beach is a 1-minute walk and our beautiful hotel has a cute pool and a terrace overlooking the English Channel.
Easy to get to, Shanklin can be accessed by fastcat ( a fast boat with the company Wightlink) to Ryde then a fun train ride on an ex-London subway train.
Coming from London/Brighton /Southampton on the train? Buy a through return ticket which includes train and fastcat.
