You'll discover all the rules and tricks of the contemporary technique created by the students of the Spilimbergo School. It's the perfect way to gain confidence in your work. You'll explore composition, rhythm and colour and discover new perspectives on your work, learning about the synergy between material, form and content. Hammering and hard carving techniques are used for stone and glass, and tesserae are set in mortar using the direct method. Slightly easier than the human portrait, the rules are very similar and you'll learn all the steps and tricks to create your own animal portrait in an original contemporary mosaic!
