First launched in the summer of 2024 in Växjö, Sweden, Kinematora brings together filmmakers and audiences from around the world to share in the magic of cinema.

This inclusive festival, powered by international European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteers, showcases films across all genres, including live-action and animation. It provides a unique platform for emerging directors to debut their work while fostering meaningful connections within the global film community.

Proudly partnered with Öppna Kanalen Kronoberg, a non-profit TV station promoting freedom of expression, and Globala Kronoberg, an international youth mobility organization, Kinematora creates a space where creativity thrives, voices are amplified, and cultural exchange flourishes.
