Join Beth Roy on Monday, Oct. 27th from 5:30 to 8:30 for an evening of creativity and clay as you hand-build your very own spiral serving plate, roughly the size of a dinner plate.
Using simple texturing and hand-building techniques, you’ll create a functional piece of pottery that’s just as beautiful as it is versatile.
This plate is as practical as it is artistic—it’s perfect for:
Serving appetizers, cheeses, or desserts
Showcasing salads, pastas, or main dishes
Displaying cookies, fruits, or baked goods
Or simply decorating your table or kitchen as a work of art!
No prior clay experience is needed—just bring your creativity, and Beth will guide you step by step.
After class, Beth will carefully dry, kiln fire, glaze, and kiln fire your work again. Finished plates will be ready for pickup about four weeks later—just in time for cozy fall and winter gatherings!
All materials, tools, instruction, one glaze color selection, and two kiln firings are included.

Please Note:
Pottery takes time to dry and fire properly. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks, depending on drying time and humidity. We’ll notify you when it's ready!

Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
Registration allows for 1 person per class. Only those who have registered may participate.
Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Class starts promptly, so be sure to arrive on time.
At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
You will be notified when your project is ready to pick up. We will hold it for 90 days with monthly notifications by text or phone. If you haven't requested an extension or picked up your work within 90 days, your project will be disposed of at the gallery's discretion.
