Celebrate the fall season on Monday, Sept. 22nd from 5:30 to 8:30 with a hands-on pottery experience! In this fun and creative class, you’ll make either one dinner-sized plate or two salad-sized plates with the guidance of artist and instructor Beth Roy.
Beth will demonstrate step-by-step how to shape your clay, add texture, and incorporate charming pumpkin details to make your plates truly one-of-a-kind.
After class, Beth will carefully dry, kiln fire, glaze, and refire your work. Finished plates will be ready for pickup about four weeks later—just in time for autumn gatherings!
All materials, tools, instruction, glaze selection, and two kiln firings are included.
No experience necessary! Space is limited—grab your seat and start crafting your perfect plate!
Please Note:
Pottery takes time to dry and fire properly. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks, depending on drying time and humidity. We’ll notify you when they’re ready!

Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
Registration allows for 1 person per class. Only those who have registered may participate.
Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Class starts promptly, so be sure to arrive on time.
At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
You will be notified when your project is ready to pick up. We will hold it for 90 days with monthly notifications by text or phone. If you haven't requested an extension or picked up your work within 90 days, your project will be disposed of at the gallery's discretion.
