FLORAL ARRANGING + WATERCOLOUR PAINTING WORKSHOP

Join us for a blissful morning of expertly guided flower arranging with Liza of White Barn Blooms. Then later sip on lemonade while you immortalize your personalized bouquet in watercolour with international artist & Illustrator Crystal Beshara.
Each participant will take home their creations: both their painting and floral arrangements, in a vessel of their choosing!
What to EXPECT:
10am arrival (please arrive promptly)
10am-11:30am Liza will guide you through creating a personal and pretty flower arrangement fresh from her garden. You can choose your own vase or jar to take home with you afterwards.
11:30-12:00 light lunch
12:30-3:00pm Crystal will lead you through a light and airy watercolour illustration approach to capture your bouquet with a flourish of bright strokes!
ALL MATERIALS & LIGHT LUNCH included. Please bring additional snacks or beverage if you wish while you paint.
Please bring your own water bottle and sunscreen, hat etc… for comfort.

White Barn Blooms is a small specialty cut flower farm just outside of Vankleek Hill owned by Liza McCrea- Cooley. The setting is very intimate and quaint which makes it an ideal place to come and cut your own blooms. She grow’s a variety of unique cut flowers specializing in dahlias. All her flowers are farmed sustainably and organic as to support a biodiverse ecosystem. Throughout the season White Barn Blooms even has a charming roadside stand and hosts Sip & Snip events where you can cut and arrange your own bouquets! Liza also creates custom orders unique to your style for weddings & events.
ART INSTRUCTOR:
Crystal Beshara is an award winning professional fine artist, illustrator and arts educator with over 25 years teaching in-person workshops all over the world, on television and on her YouTube Channel. This style of workshop is designed for people with beginner to moderate experience. Crystal creates a fun, energetic and positive environment that focuses on technique and ensures you have a great time while learning the magic of watercolour!
