Old Fashioned Christmas Kickoff Weekend in Vandergrift

Join us in welcoming the holiday season to Vandergrift! The Vandergrift Improvement Program and Vandergrift Business Association are joining together to create a great beginning to the holiday season.

On Friday, November 28th, businesses will be open throughout the day and then at 4 pm, Columbia and Grant Avenues will close to vehicle traffic. Food trucks and vendors will be on Columbia Avenue from 4- 9 pm, and live entertainment will be at the corner of Grant and Farragut. At 6 pm the traditional Christmas parade will begin making its way through town, featuring the Kiski Area Marching Band, fire and emergency vehicles, floats, and Santa! The parade will conclude with the arrival of Santa and lighting of the Christmas tree in the heart of downtown. Visits and photos with Santa will be available after the parade and until 9 pm in the Market Building.
