About the event

History of American Pies

The Vandalia Statehouse State Historic Site will host culinary historian Catherine Lambrecht, who will explore the diverse and changing history of pies in the United States during a free, public program on Saturday, Oct. 4. A question-and-answer session will follow, and visitors can bring their favorite family recipes to share. Refreshments provided.
