The Confluence Legacy Maker Gathering is an annual celebration of leaders who have profoundly advanced Native culture, education, and storytelling across the Columbia River system. Each year, we honor individuals whose work exemplifies Confluence’s mission to connect people to the history, living cultures, and ecology of this region through Indigenous voices.
In 2025, we are proud to honor three visionary women—Lillian Pitt (Warm Springs, Wasco, Yakama), Linda Meanus (Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs), and Elizabeth Woody (Warm Springs, Navajo, Wasco, Yakama)—each of whom has made lasting contributions to the cultural and creative life of the Pacific Northwest. Through art, education, and storytelling, they have shaped how future generations understand place, memory, and Indigenous resilience.
Join us as we honor those who have dedicated their lives to keeping Native voices strong and visible—ensuring their knowledge, creativity, and teachings continue to guide the path forward.
