The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training with Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course is designed to help youth ages 11–16 care for children and infants safely and confidently.
👶 What Participants Will Learn:
- Feeding, diapering, and age-appropriate care
- Picking up and holding infants and children
- Safety basics and emergency response
- Real-life babysitting skills through hands-on activities, videos, and group discussions
🚑 Important Note:
CPR training can be physically demanding. Participants should ideally weigh 85–90 lbs to take part in the CPR portion of the course.
🏅 Upon Successful Completion:
10-year Babysitter’s Training Certificate
2-year Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate
