Il-Ħadd, 28 ta’ Settembru, ser nerġgħu niltaqgħu għat-tielet edizzjoni ta’ Barra bid-Daqq! Din id-darba ser niltaqgħu fiċ-Ċentru Rikreattiv Re Ġorġ V, il-Floriana (il-ġnien quddiem l-eks sptar Boffa). 🌳🎶
Jekk qatt ma żortu dan il-ġnien, żgur li se jkollkom sorpriża sabiħa - hemm bandli u spazju għat-tfal 👧🛝, post fejn tistgħu tieħdu xi ħaġa 🍹, u veduta bellezza tal-Port il-Kbir ⛵.
Il-lejla ser tkun mimlija mużika varjata li tħallikom bix-xewqa għal iktar:
🎸 Franco Tartaglia – il-kitarra klassika f’idejn solista eċċezzjonali li ser jagħtina kompożizzjonijiet oriġinali li jsaħħruk.
🥁 VIEWS – grupp frisk iktar minn ħobża ħierga minn ġol-forn – magħmul mill-kitarrist, producer u mexxej Mark Axiak, Jake Paul Mallia fuq id-drums u James Lightfoot fuq il-bass. Mużika mimlija enerġija ⚡, spontanjeta 💫, qalb ❤️ u melodiji seduċenti.
🎤 David Schembri flimkien ma’ Oliver Degabriele (bass) u ż-Żizza (drums) – band li tgħaqqdek spiritwalment 🙌. David, kantawtur b’vuċi u stil uniku, ser jaqsam magħna kanzunetti li jolqtuk f'ruħek 💜 u jibqgħu jidwu ġo fik – b’ħoss alternattiv u togħma ċertament Maltija.
Bħas-soltu, Barra bid-Daqq tibqa’ attività b’xejn 🎉 u bla skop kummerċjali, din id-darba f’kollaborazzjoni mal-Kunsill Lokali tal-Floriana. Minħabba li l-iskejjel ikunu diġà bdew 📚, din id-darba ser nibdew ftit iktar kmieni – 5:30pm.
Ġib il-ħbieb, tfal u qraba 👨👩👧👦 u ejja ngħaddu serata mill-isbaħ flimkien 🌟. Qed nistennewkom b’ħerqa! 🤗

On Sunday, 28th September, we’ll be meeting again for the third edition of Barra bid-Daqq! This time, we’ll be gathering at the King George V Recreational Grounds in Floriana (the garden in front of the former Boffa Hospital). 🌳🎶
If you’ve never visited this garden before, you’re in for a treat: a playground for children 👧🛝, a kiosk where you can grab something to eat or drink 🍹, and a beautiful view of the Grand Harbour ⛵.
The evening will be filled with live music that will leave you wanting more:
🎸 Franco Tartaglia – classical guitar in the hands of an exceptional soloist, performing original compositions that will captivate you.
🥁 VIEWS – a fresh new trio hotter than bread straight out of the oven – made up of guitarist, producer and bandleader Mark Axiak, Jake Paul Mallia on drums, and James Lightfoot on bass. Expect music full of energy ⚡, spontaneity 💫, heart ❤️ and irresistible melodies.
🎤 David Schembri together with Oliver Degabriele (bass) and Żizza (drums) – a band that speaks to your inner self 🙌. David, a talented singer-songwriter with a voice and style all his own, will share songs that touch your soul 💜 and linger within you – an alternative sound with a distinctly Maltese flavour.
As always, Barra bid-Daqq is a free event 🎉 with no commercial purpose. This edition is organised in collaboration with the Floriana Local Council. Since schools will have already started 📚, this time we’ll be kicking off a little earlier – 5:30pm.
