The Meaning of Flowers by Bernadette Thomas Riordan -and make some see packets afterwards!

Our regular monthly meeting is moved from 11/15 to Saturday 11/22 at 10 a.m.. Our speaker for the meeting is Master Gardener Bernadette Thomas Riordan. She will be speaking on the meaning of different flowers. Historically and across cultures, different flowers have been given different meanings between the giver and receiver. Come learn about this history and consider how this might influence any flower gifts you might give over the holiday season or throughout the year.

Also, please know you can hang out after the talk and make some seed packets for us to give to the library for their seed bank.

Free event. If you plan to come and are not a garden club member, please RSVP to vallejogardenclub at gmail dot com by the 21st. Arrive between 9:30 -10 a.m. so we can start right at 10 a.m.
